Date: Wednesday 31 March 2010, 7.45 to 10.00a.m.
Venue: Norwich City Football Club, Carrow Road, Norwich
The next of our popular employment law update briefings will be held on Wednesday 31 March 2010, at Norwich City Football Club. The briefing will cover recent and forthcoming developments in employment law. It will be delivered by qualified and experienced lawyers who specialise exclusively in employment law, and the emphasis will be on the practical implications of the developments and what they mean for you and your business.
The briefing will cover the following topics:
• The Equality Bill
• The new Certificates for Fitness to Work
• The new right to request time off for training
• Proposals for additional paternity leave
• Case law developments in discrimination law and unfair dismissal
• Implementation of the Agency Workers Directive.
The seminar is aimed at HR managers and those with responsibility for personnel issues in the workplace.
The cost of the seminar is £65 plus VAT, and includes a full English and continental breakfast which will be served before the briefing. This year we are introducing a new loyalty scheme: if your firm instructs us on an employment law matter within six months of the briefing, we will deduct the cost of the breakfast briefing from your first bill (terms apply).
